Passionate about her craft, Cheryl Simon
is a Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology stylist, cosmetology instructor, salon owner and manager. She has enjoyed
more than 25 years in an ever-changing industry in which she says is "both an art and a science which requires
an open mind, a trained ear, technical skill, artistic vision and a keen understanding of the tools of the trade."
Her latest venture, Diva Capelli Salon, is a culmination of years of advanced training in cosmetology, salon business and
instruction. When asked what she enjoys most in her work she answers very strongly, "Haircoloring and color chemistry."
She says she believes that teaching is her "calling" and will always find ways to help others grow in their career.
